She held the position of Solorepetitorin at Theater Osnabrück, where she worked on productions including Fidelio and Der Bettelstudent. She also worked at Landestheater Detmold, where she played and coached Der Fliegende Holländer, Rigoletto, and Hans Werner Henze’s Elegies für junge Liebende. Her engagements have also taken her to Thüringer Schlossfestspiele Sondershausen for Anatevka and Theater Nordhausen for Salome, Anatevka, and Luisa Fernanda.
In addition to her theater work, she has participated in numerous summer programs and festivals as a pianist and repetiteur, including the Canadian Vocal Arts Institute, Brevard Music Festival, Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Narnia Vocal Arts Festival, and Berlin Opera Academy. She is also a faculty member of the Dramatic Voices Program Berlin, where she has coached and performed in productions such as Die Walküre, Elektra, and Ariadne auf Naxos.
Boram was born and raised in South Korea and studied composition, piano performance, and collaborative piano at McGill University. During her time at McGill, she served as a repetiteur for numerous Opera McGill productions, including La Bohème, Dido and Aeneas, the Canadian premiere of Volpone by John Musto, The Rake’s Progress, and Turn of the Screw. During her time at McGill, she had the opportunity to work with many influential composers, pianists, and conductors, including Brian Cherney, Jean Lesage, Richard Raymond, Kyoko Hashimoto, Michael McMahon, Patrick Hansen, and Julian Wachner.

Boram Ahn is a collaborative pianist based in Berlin, with extensive experience as an opera repetiteur. She has played and coached a wide range of operatic repertoire across North America and Germany. Her recent collaborations include Staatsoper Berlin (Fin de Partie by György Kurtág, Kinderoper Träume-eine Nacht im Elfenwald), Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg (34th International Singing Competition), Theater Neustrelitz (Neues vom Tage by Hindemith and Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny by Kurt Weill), Opéra du Grand Sud (Les pêcheurs de perles), and Académie Internationale de Musique Française Michel Plasson (Gala Concert).
