Summer program 2026 (Prieros)
Hänsel und Gretel
While the second week of our program will focus exclusively on the opera staging, the first week will also feature coaching on audition repertoire, an audition and career seminar with opera agent Ingo Jander from the ZAV Hannover, and a gala concert in the village church.
The program will culminate in two performances of Hänsel und Gretel on Saturday 8th August.
Faculty for this summer will be Detlef Soelter (director), Dr. Alexandros Diamantis (conductor), Kaine Hayward (vocal coach), Suyeon Verch (rehearsal pianist) and Ingo Jander (opera agent). See faculty page for full biographies.
Prieros is a little village situated about 1 hour Southeast of Berlin and about 30 minutes from Berlin Brandenburg International Airport. The location between Brandenburg’s lakes and forests will be as inspiring as the as artistic work. Besides the daily work there will be plenty of opportunities for swimming, hiking, barbecuing and enjoying nature.
In Summer 2026 we are delighted to offer a two week program in Prieros, featuring a staging of Hänsel und Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck.

Tuition fee: EUR 1600.00

Early bird tuition fee until 31st March 2026: EUR 1400.00

Deposit (non-refundable): EUR 320.00 (20% of total cost) upon registration to secure a place.

Passive participation: EUR 50.00 per day. No accommodation or food provided.
